By using the Octopus Team website or requesting any of our services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions below. These terms are designed to protect both parties and ensure a professional workflow.

2. Intellectual Property & Code

• • Private projects: once the project is fully paid, source code ownership and all related files are transferred to the client. The company may still showcase the project in its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
• • Ready-made products: when subscribing to a SaaS product, the client receives usage rights only, while code and trademark ownership remain with Octopus Team.

3. Payment & Contracting Policy

Payment terms depend on the nature of the project:

• • An agreed upfront payment is required to start work.
• • The remaining balance is divided into milestones tied to specific deliverables.
• • Final files or full production release are delivered only after all dues are settled.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• • The upfront payment may be fully refunded if no execution phase has started.
• • If the project is cancelled after work begins, completed work is valued and deducted from the amount paid.

5. Warranty & Maintenance

We provide a free warranty period ranging from three to six months to fix software defects that appear in the delivered system. The warranty does not cover new requests or issues caused by misuse or third-party changes.
